Megan GesseCostume Construction

Megan is a costume technician for theatre and dance. She has worked as a draper, stitcher, first hand, crafts head, and assistant costume designer. She will be graduating with a BFA in costume construction from Webster University’s Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts and a minor in English. Recent draping work includes: Webster University Dance Ensemble 2021-2023, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (Sargent Conservatory), The Learned Ladies (Sargent Conservatory), Mac Beth (Sargent Conservatory); first hand: Sondheim on Sondheim (Sargent Conservatory); stitcher: Cinderella,( 42nd Street (Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre); crafts head: Romeo and Juliet (Sargent Conservatory); assistant designer: The Bridges of Madison County (Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre).  She also interned in the patternmaking department at Weissman Dance Costumes.  In her free time she enjoys reading, cooking, and tap dancing.
