Anna BeshoarCostume Design

Anna Beshoar is a designer, stitcher, and wardrobe tech hailing from Southern Illinois. The Sargent Conservatory and the world of theater was the culmination of years of drawing cool costumes, making doll clothes, and yearly cosplay. At Webster, she designed costumes for Student Voices and Mud. Other Conservatory positions included wardrobe head, stitcher, draper, first hand, crafts head, and props and paint crews. Anna’s professional wardrobe work began with the Opera Theatre of Saint Louis’ 2022 season,  consisting of Carmen, The Magic Flute, Harvey Milk, and Awakenings. Recent professional work includes both stitching and wardrobe crew for Stages St. Louis’ Aida. In her free time, Anna is a giant nerd who enjoys reading, writing, drawing, doting on her animals, and documentaries on topics ranging from archaeology and shipwrecks to ghosts and cryptids.
